These terms apply when you use r4cksports.com, the website of R4ck Sports on Long Island, New York, or send us a request through it. "We," "us" and "our" mean R4ck Sports. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you have a question about them, email info@r4cksports.com.

Using this site

You're welcome to browse, request quotes and send order requests. Please don't:

• Send false information, spam or automated submissions through our forms
• Try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems
• Copy the site or its content for commercial use without our permission

We may change, pause or remove any part of the site at any time.

Quotes and order requests

Our site takes requests, not payments. A quote request or an order request is just that: a request. It doesn't create a contract, and you're free to change your mind.

An order becomes binding only when we confirm it in writing, by email, and you accept that confirmation, including any payment or purchase order it calls for.

Each quote states how long it's valid. We may decline or cancel any request, for example if an item becomes unavailable or a listing contained an error. If you've already paid for something we can't fill, we'll refund it in full.

Prices and availability

Prices, products and availability can change without notice until your order is confirmed. Many items on our site show "Request a quote" or "Coming soon" instead of a price. We'll give you an exact price before you commit.

We work to keep the site accurate. If we spot an error in a price, description or availability, we'll correct it and let you know before your order is final.

Unless your confirmation says otherwise, prices don't include shipping or applicable sales tax. Tax-exempt organizations can send us their exemption paperwork, and we'll apply it where the law allows.

Custom orders and approvals

• You approve the design. We send you a design proof before production. Please check names, spelling, numbers, colors, sizes and quantities carefully. When you approve it, you're confirming all of those details.
• Approval starts production. Your quote sets out the return and exchange terms for custom work before you approve. If something doesn't match your approved proof, we'll work with you to make it right, as described in our shipping & returns policy.
• Changes after approval may not be possible. If they are, they may change the price and the timeline.
• Color varies a little. Colors on screens and proofs can look slightly different from the finished fabric.
• Payment terms for custom orders, such as any deposit before production, will be set out in your quote.

Your logos and artwork

If you send us a team logo, mascot, name or other artwork, you're confirming you have the right to use it, for example as an authorized representative of the team, league or school. It stays yours. You give us permission to use it to create proofs and make your order.

We won't show your team's logo or uniforms in our own marketing without your OK. We may decline any design we believe uses someone else's work without permission or isn't appropriate.

Timelines

Our standard turnaround for custom uniforms is 8 weeks from design approval, and your quote confirms the dates for your order. Custom timelines are estimates measured from design approval, not from your first request. Timelines for other orders are estimates measured from when your order is confirmed.

Things outside our control can affect timing, such as supplier and manufacturing delays, shipping carriers, weather and material shortages. Late proof approvals or order changes can move dates too. If a date is at risk, we'll tell you as soon as we know and work with you on options.

Gear Exchange

• When you bring in gear, we'll evaluate it and may make you an offer. Whether we make an offer, and what it is, is at our discretion, based on things like condition, safety and what players are looking for.
• We may decline any item. For safety, protective gear has limits: helmets must be in date and certified, and we may decline some items.
• An offer is final only once we've both agreed to it.
• By trading gear in, you confirm it's yours to trade.
• Used items we sell are sold as described, with a condition grade. Return terms for used items are confirmed before you buy. See our shipping & returns policy.

Intellectual property

The R4ck Sports name, logo and mark, our tagline "Take it to the rack," and the content of this site, including its text, graphics and design, belong to R4ck Sports. Please don't use them without our written permission, other than to link to our site or refer to us by name.

Disclaimers and limits

We work hard to keep this site accurate and running, but it's provided "as is," to the extent the law allows. Any manufacturer's warranty on a product comes from its maker, and we'll pass along what we know with your order.

To the extent the law allows, R4ck Sports isn't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, and our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

Sports carry risk. Make sure protective gear fits, suits your sport and level, and meets your league's rules before you use it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. If something goes wrong, we'd much rather sort it out directly, so please email us first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. The terms in place when your order was confirmed continue to apply to that order.
